Los Angeles is set to host the first two-day US festival for A State of Trance, the internationally recognized brand from DJ and producer Armin van Buuren. The event is scheduled to take over ACE*MISSION Studios from June 11–12, 2027, marking a significant moment for the brand, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
The organizers are calling this Los Angeles stop its "biggest touring event of the year." This isn't A State of Trance's first foray into the City of Angels; the platform previously staged what was then its largest show, ASOT 1000, at the Banc of California Stadium (now known as BMO Stadium) back in 2022. Southern California has a history of drawing significant productions from the trance world, and this upcoming two-day festival continues that trend with an expanded format.
Adding another layer to the experience, the A State of Trance Hotel will also make its debut in LA. This unique offering brings a concept previously established in international cities like Rotterdam and London to Southern California. Past hotel packages for these events have aimed to enhance the festival-goer's experience by offering perks such as expedited festival entry, dedicated shuttle services to and from the venue, and specially coordinated events and activities exclusively for guests, including pre-parties designed to kick off the festivities early.
While the specific lineup for the Los Angeles festival in 2027 has not yet been announced, A State of Trance recently revealed some of the artists slated to perform at their Rotterdam event earlier that year, from February 26–27, 2027. That initial phase of artists includes Dash Berlin, Billy Gillies, Ørjan Nilsen, Vini Vici, Ferry Corstenn, Ruben de Ronde, and Sarah de Warren, among others. This gives a glimpse into the caliber of artists typically associated with the brand, though the LA lineup will be a distinct announcement.
