Los Angeles is about to see something new at the Hollywood Bowl this October when Miley takes the stage for her first-ever performances at the iconic venue. The pop star is slated for two shows, on October 16 and 18, to celebrate the release of her upcoming 10th studio album, *Bass Persuades*.
The concerts are billed as “Miley: Bass Persuades – Live at the Hollywood Bowl,” coinciding with the album’s release on September 18. Miley recently told *Wonderland* magazine that *Bass Persuades* is a reflection of where she is in her life, describing it as a "love story" with "layered" dimensions and a "romantic thread" that has persisted across different eras of her life.
Adding to the fresh approach, Miley has begun professionally referring to herself with a single name. She has dropped her last name, Cyrus, from her social media accounts and all promotional materials for the new album and upcoming performances. While there is no official word on whether this change is permanent, her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, publicly supported the decision.
On X, Billy Ray Cyrus commented, "I told Miley yesterday I felt good about her going with her first name. I mentioned Dolly and Cher. Thinking about it more and more … Elvis .. Prince … and so on. It’s a natural progression for an iconic superstar legend."
These Hollywood Bowl shows are particularly noteworthy for Southern California fans, as Miley has not been living on the road extensively recently. Her last major live performance was in 2025, and these upcoming dates represent her return to the stage for a major headlining engagement.
Each night will feature Model/Actriz as the opening act, promising an art-rock complement to the evening’s performances.
Tickets for these highly anticipated shows will go on sale to the general public at 10 AM on Thursday, September 10. For those looking to secure their spots earlier, several presales are scheduled: an American Express presale begins at 10 AM on Tuesday, September 8, followed by Miley's artist presale starting at 10 AM on Wednesday, September 9. So, Los Angeles, prepare for two nights of just Miley at the Hollywood Bowl.
