French fashion brand Sézane has officially opened its first permanent boutique in Los Angeles, setting up shop at the Brentwood Country Mart. After a series of temporary appearances that proved quite popular, the Parisian label has now committed to a lasting presence at the upscale retail center.
The new Sézane boutique, located at the southern end of the Brentwood Country Mart in a red barn storefront, officially opened on August 14. To mark the occasion, an opening celebration is planned all weekend long, offering French treats and a special gift with purchase for shoppers.
Founded in 2013 by Morgane Sézalory, Sézane has built a following for its classic, flattering, and romantic aesthetic. The brand is particularly beloved for its sweaters, often seen buttoned up and worn as blouses, alongside dainty tops, flattering skirts, and a range of leather bags and chic totes. Previously, Sézane had extended its pop-up stays at the Brentwood Country Mart multiple times due to popular demand, indicating a clear interest from Southern California shoppers.
Sézalory described the reimagined "petit boutique," whose design was inspired by the idea of a jewelry box, as "Sézane as I have always imagined it." The store features a carefully edited selection of the brand's top sellers across every category. Shoppers will find the "famous sweater wall" with a rainbow of cozy knits, as well as curated styles from the fall/winter ready-to-wear collection, including denim jumpers, skirts, silky dresses, frilly blouses, and a covetable plaid trench. A notable detail for shoppers is that only one of each piece is on display; staff are available to retrieve specific sizes from the back.
To further celebrate the new boutique’s initial week, Sézane is also bringing its traveling retail concept, "En Route," to the area. This unique French take on the classic American road trip travels in a custom Airstream trailer, stocking curated Sézane picks and some exclusive products. The "En Route" trailer is scheduled to stop at the Brentwood Farmers’ Market on Sunday, August 16, and then at the Hollywood Farmers’ Market on Sunday, August 23.
The Sézane Brentwood store can be found at 225 26th St., Suite 52. Its operating hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm, and Sundays from 11 am to 5 pm.
