Five San Diego County restaurants were named Wednesday to OpenTable's Top 100 Restaurants in America for 2026 list.
The local honorees include Callie and Cowboy Star in the East Village, Cesarina in the Point Loma area, LEILA in North Park, and Lilo in Carlsbad. Callie is a Mediterranean restaurant led by chef Travis Swikard. Cesarina operates as an Italian trattoria featuring house-made pasta. Cowboy Star functions as a steakhouse and butcher shop, while LEILA highlights Middle Eastern food and design. Lilo holds one Michelin star and offers a seafood-focused tasting menu.
The online reservation service compiled the rankings using more than 11 million reviews from verified diners and dining metrics gathered from September 1, 2025, through August 31, 2026. Across the nation, California led all states with 19 total honorees.
