Bronny James is expected to be in the starting lineup for the Coachella Valley Lakers during their debut game Friday night.
The Los Angeles Lakers assigned James and rookie guard Cameron Carr to the G League team on Thursday morning. The team will face the Salt Lake City Stars in a 7 p.m. game at Acrisure Arena.
Additionally, forward Adou Thiero was recalled by the NBA team on Thursday. Players assigned from an NBA parent team customarily start to maximize their playing time.
