Actor Aaron Paul has officially sold his historic Los Angeles home, finding a buyer for the storied property below Griffith Park for $7.495 million. The sale closed on October 6, according to property records, marking the end of Paul's ownership of the residence more than a year after he initially listed it.
Paul first put the Seyler House on the market in July 2025, asking for just shy of $10 million. After failing to secure a buyer at that price, he adjusted his expectations, eventually reducing the asking price to around $8.2 million in January. The final sale price came in well below his original ambitious figure.
Ben Belack of Serhant handled the listing. Belack reportedly found the experience of selling the property to be bittersweet, noting he enjoyed showing the home and would miss its “palpable and restorative energy.” He expressed hope that the new owners might extend an invitation to visit sometime.
The sprawling estate itself encompasses 4,026 square feet of living space and sits on over an acre of land, designed to take full advantage of Southern California's climate. The home features four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Outside, amenities include a swimming pool, a cold plunge, a fire pit, an outdoor fireplace, and a koi pond. The lush property also boasts a garden dining patio and an amphitheater, tucked away for privacy.
Beyond its amenities, the Seyler House carries a significant amount of Hollywood history. Before Paul called it home, a string of other notable figures reportedly resided there, including Robert Pattinson, Jim Parsons, Noah Wyle, Tim Curry, cinematographer Robert Richardson, and NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
Paul's decision to sell his longtime Los Angeles base stemmed from a significant lifestyle change for his family. The Emmy-winning actor, his wife Lauren Parsekian, and their children, Story Annabelle and Ryden Caspain, relocated to Paris in early 2025. This move came after devastating wildfires in Los Angeles earlier that year. Paul reportedly told the Daily Mail that the fires prompted their decision to leave Los Angeles and settle in Paris, a city he described as “awesome.” He also mentioned his desire for his children to experience a different culture abroad, noting it was a move he had always wanted to make.
